Just installed it - took about 20 minutes (probably halt that if you had another person helping). The frame that connect to the desk is metal (probably last forever) - the keyboard deck is like a light wood/particle board (kind of feel I need to careful with it to make it last many years) . I have a stand-sit desk with a beam going across the underside of the desk - this mount does have variable configurations to be installed around it (there's like three ways you can do it based on the instructions). I ended up taking off the wrist bump - it's a very hard rubber; I have an ergonomic keyboard and a mouse pad so didn't really need it. I would recommend trying out your keyboard and mouse before applying the black write bump to see if you really need it. Very satisfied considering the great price. I can already feel my shoulders/back feeling less strained while working at my desk. I would recommend it to family and friends.

Frees up the desk top, so that it can be used for paper work or other things. Absolutely love the product, but i think it has two issues; one is that there is no rails or bearings for smooth sliding (sliding keyboard back and forth catches on the metal on metal channel guide), and the other is that the keyboard tray slowly rises no matter how much you tighten it down. Overall for the price i am happy with the purchase.

I bought this, installed it, but the inclinaison is hard to set. There seems to always be a slack in the inclinaison, so the tray moves down maybe 1 cm when you rest your wrists on the edge. Used it less than a day, uninstalled it and i'll be selling it on marketplace at a loss.

Keeps bouncing, even with the screw well tightened. Can't slide a think keyboard easily.
