The pad is somewhat small, but light and it’s perfect for a child. The color is very monochromatic, and the brightness is very low. Absolutely no instructions whatsoever included as to the functions and what the buttons do. It appears the trash button at the top not only clears the screen, but shut it off but there’s no way of knowing what is actually happening and if it’s off or still on all the time. Battery is very difficult to get through and change and it’s hidden at the top right corner and requires a extremely small screwdriver to replace it.

The color function is not clearly explained. Color lines show automatically on only one side of the screen when writing. Overall, good product for the price.

It was one sale so gave it a try. It's very light weight, thin, I don't think I would give it to anyone under maybe 13 or so. There was no instructions as to how to use it other than marketing information on the box itself. If it hadn't been on a good sale I wouldn't have tried it. Don't know how long it will last even in adult only household.
