I have a friend to try to install this for me and his feedback below. The product proved to be impossible to install because there is not enough space for the standard 15A copper wire to fit under the screws that fasten them to the electrical poles. Tried fully unscrewing the screws hoping to fit the wire on them separately but then they could not be screwed back. I can only recommend this unit for non-standard low amperage applications that use a smaller wire gauge. There was no issue fitting a normal outlet to the same wires because they do have sufficient space around the screws for the wires to fit. Have done at least half a dozen GFI installations in my lifetime, am an E.Eng, but this is the first one that failed. If you want to lose both your time and money, and love getting your blood pressure cranked up , this certified wonder GFI outlet is an ideal purchase.

The description is inaccurate, this is not a slim version but rather the same full-sized outlet as the previous version. Extremely disappointed, I bought it specifically for the smaller footprint...

Vous avez menti sur les dimensions; c'est une prise standard et non une prise de dimension réduite sinon je n'auras pas acheté. Elle entre difficilement dans un boitier régulier et avec beaucoup de difficultés .C'est triste, c'est la première fois que j'ai une déception d'achat dans votre groupe: Prime, Shopper ou 123Ink. Sans doute le dernier.

This receptacle is terrible. The connections terminals are not centered and too weak. It takes so much extra time to play with the terminal screws to get a 12ga wire connected. Then, the screw stripped out and now after struggling with this no-name receptacle I have wasted valuable time and money and now I need to go and buy a 'real' receptacle. Worst receptacle I have ever installed and, I really do not feel they are safe.
