This product works so well that it not only removes the leaf but also gouges out a good amount of the core of the strawberry. I wish that it would only pluck the stem out but the arching blades force the cutting edges to dig deeper into the strawberry., and leave the fruit practically hollow. Stick to the old pairing knife!
