This is the 6th Android media player I have purchased from this site. They have all been problematic in one way or another but the combination of price and after purchase customer service has kept me coming back. Upon powering up this unit, I immediately went to Google Play to download all of the apps I require to use this device. Before even reaching the log in screen, I was kicked back to the main menu. This happened no matter what I tried, including resetting the CMOS. The same thing happened with Google Chrome and Netflix. Without apps, this device is useless to me. I contacted customer service for a replacement unit as I had intended to purchase 3 more, so long as I could get 1 to function. I was informed they would not offer a replacement unit but rather only a refund. Besides the unnecessary inconvenience of a refund rather than replacement, the device had gone up significantly in price since my purchase and I would have to pay 45% more to do this. Because of this, I will not be purchasing 3 more units and this negative experience will now change how much I purchase from this site going forward.
Total piece of garbage.
Stopped working just before warranty
Returned, to slow and would freeze. Did not matter if on Wi-fi or ethernet.
I love your products but I hate the carrier that you use for shipping - FedEx. My items arrived in Ottawa on Thursday and were supposed to be delivered that day. It is now Tuesday, 5 days later, and I still do not have my package. The delivery date is now "Pending" whatever that means. I cannot seem to get anyone's attention or commitment from FedEx. What do I have to do to get my shipments via a different reliable carrier and how do I get my package? It would have been faster to walk!
Does not start up half the time and the app store does not even have Disney+. Contacted customer service after I had repackaged it up for refund and was told I had to submit a video with it malfunctioning. I have tried several times but do not have time to keep power cycling until it fails as the start up is so slow. Will probably just toss it.
