This is a good grill, easy to clean, and powerful enough. There is no smoke, but it smells quite a lot when using it to grill indoors. Nevertheless I would recommend it.

Used it to grill some chicken and it worked quite well. The only complaint I have is that the lid is fairly shallow so it tends to press thick cuts of meat against the grill.
