I really wished to like this as it's very heavy and good quality, but it doesn't fit on many desks as the height adjustment are very limited. I wish they had a higher setting or a thinner top plate to fit on a double layer desk. I got the electrical desk from Prime Cable and I have to force it in on the small space and doesn't go entirely in. As picture shown, it's the max setting and the furthest I can push in. A bit disappointing, so make sure your table are those small ones.

The axel swivels, would be nice if it can be secured in place

Product is not as advertised. It is much smaller, and does not have the screws on the bottom that are show in the picture that would allow you to take one end off.
