Ambush Interactive Electronic Cat Toy with Rotating Feather-LIVINGbasics®
Cats loved it. Loved it so much they eventually destroyed the housing (it's just cardboard) and then the actual articulating arm, but they got months of entertainment out of it to get to that state. In fact, I would bet the degree of satisfaction they got from actually conquering it bit by bit was more than they'd get from sturdier toys. I wish I could just replace the housing and the arm + feather since the rechargeable motor piece is still fine (and even still occasionally tries to spin what's left of the arm, so the cats still fiddle with it a little), but I think they got enough amusement out of it that I'll get them a fresh one to destroy again =)
Good for the price. Cat seems interested but not that much. You can’t expect that much on automatic toys because fundamentally it’s not held by a person who can play hide and hunt for real with cats. It lasts a bit short, just about 3 minutes, then it will go into sleep mode, unless anyone or any cat bumped it really hard it will not react. My cats both have the personality of paying careful attention to not knocking things off in the room, so they won’t hit this toy hard enough to trigger it running again.
Cats loved it for about 5 - 10 minutes until it was broken
Two out of three cats adore the toy and want to play with it near-constantly. While the feathers may come out, as another buyer said, you can glue them back on, and the included replacements help. Each charge lasts many cycles. It puts up with a lot of rough play, but should it break, I hope there will be one left for me to buy again!
Cat (indoor) loves it and is continuously entertained by it. Keeps starting it on its own and is fascinated by it. However if it gets the feather it will come out and may need to be glued back on. Second cat (rescued stray)did not care about the toy and lost interest very soon. At this highly discounted price $15 i bought it at you cant go wrong
definitely worth it at the $16 price point I got it for. keeps my cat interest enough that I'm happy with it. Just concerned about longevity of the cardboard as my cat likes to toss this thing around when she catches the feather. Might try and weight it down.
