I bought this for my daughter aa a gift and she really love it. According to her, it is quiet and really grinds perfectly. They want the spices as powdered and it does it without a problem. I am going to order one for me.

Works well for grinding spices. I probably wouldn't grind coffee in this thing unless I was desperate, though.
