The fans are quiet and work, but it appears as though the USB ports don't get enough power to even use my mouse through it's USB port, and I definitely wanted to GAIN ports and not LOSE them, just to use this device. Even tried plugging it in to a power block and my power hub that has USB ports built in, the ports on the cooling try wont power anything except the tray itself. not worth the money imo.

The lower the setting the louder the rattling gets, it's normally the opposite with fans. I think there must be something loose or not fastened properly inside. At the lowest speed it's distracting.

I bought this because I thought it would be better than the cooler I have been using. Mine is plastic, not adjustable, and has only one small fan in the middle while this one has 4 fans and you can adjust the angle. Unfortunately, the fans on this one don't seem to move much air, even when the angle and fan speed settings are maxed out. To be objective, I tracked my laptop's temperature and it - even with the laptop idling - left the laptop several degrees warmer (sometimes even idling at 41C when my previous cooler kept it in 32-35C) than my old generic, plastic, non-adjustable single-fan cooler. It is also annoying that you cannot turn the red light off in addition to it doing a poor job at cooling.
