Not rechargeable as stated in description. Shoppers+ is great and sent a replacement but second one was the same as a first.

The description says: "Rechargeable Large Capacity Li-on Battery - With built-in 3600mAh large-capacity lithium-ion battery, the white desk lamp can last for 40 hours after fully-charged. It will be the first choice for your family as emergency backup power when there is a sudden power outage, brings light to your life." I charged it overnight, however it doesn't seem to have any battery or anything since it needs to be plugged in to turn on. Also there's no power adapter that comes with it like the instructions says, and no timer function.

Unfortunately the connector on the light was broken when i got it. Packaging was fine so I have to assume poor QA on the lamp
