Locking mechanism is either too loose (pole retracts) or too tight (can’t flip lock it down). Many adjustment tries at the back of the locking mechanism to get it right but it may just be not fitting well. Time will tell but I would hate to do the adjustments in the cold outside. 4 stars based on the strength of price.
