Much sturdier than it appears in the pics, I have an older model monitor and some risers won't take it. This one does, without any "strain". The drawers pull in/out nice and easy, with no "screetcccch" that some do, and the drawer pulls are easy and comfortable to handle. The drawers are a good useful size, and there is a channel on the top at the front I put my pens in. No idea how it stacks as I only purchased one, but from the look of it, I think stacking it would work as intended. Doesn't take up too much space, but provides plenty on top even with the older monitors base on there, a very good purchase :)
