3 Prong Grounded Surge Protector Single Outlet with Switch and Indicator, ETL Listed - PrimeCables®
I have a number of these in use. But with a 250 Joules protection rating, I'm now wondering, what happens if it was to receive a higher surge of 650 Joules? Will it simply fry this little (and affordable) surge protector and the device plugged into it will no longer receive power? Or, will it only absorb 250 Joules and then let the remaining 400 Joules through to the device that is plugged into it? I am hoping that someone can answer this question.
Connection a bit too tight, hard to plug and unplug. However, once it's plugged in, it works well with a bright blue LED indicator.
Great for Christmas lights, no need to plug unplug all the time.
Very helpful in the kitchen.. saves lot of electricity when in standby
Useful for the odd appliances that don't have a switch, and you want to protect the cord/outlet. Also helps cut down on ghost appliances if you don't want to kill an entire power bar.
Works good so far, use it in the bedroom for a CPAP machine, I don't like the bright blue light it has on it, had to put a sticker over it to keep it from lighting up the room at night
