3 in 1 Type-C to 3.5mm Audio Adapter and Type-C Charging Splitter Dongle - PrimeCables®
Wasn't as I expected it to be. I have an older car with no bluetooth, but has an AUX jack. With my old phone, I had an audio input, which allowed me to connect the phone directly to the AUX input. On my new phone, only has the USB C slot. Bougt this hoping to connect to AUX. It works well when playing music from the phone, but does not work for phone calls. The audio out is fine, but it doesn't recognize any microphone, so cannot speak. I've tried playing with phone settings, but cannot get to work. For now, using only as a device to play music.
It works, but the connection is not very good. I would rather not use it.
For the hassles of this adapter, I would rather pay a bit more and get another one even without the extra audio connection. Pros: cheap, able to plug multiple headsets (headphones without the extra pin might have issues), able to charger and plug in headphones at same time Cons: doesn't stay plugged into phone - need to hold in place, aux cable for car doesn't work for audio on both side speakers on adapter's main plug
