I’ll echo another reviewer in that the product shots of this item show the RGB colour strip to be MUCH bigger than it actually is. It’s about 1mm wide with a thin black plate just below it, so don’t expect too much light from this strip. Its a neat highlight at best. FYI, Straight out of the box you’ll see that the base of the stand may “appear” to be scuffed up but its just a thin plastic film that needs to be pulled off. There was no indication that this had to be removed, so be careful as there’s no pull tab on there to make for an easy removal. And again, as the previous review stated the "press to remove" button does not do much. As pressing it does not make the stand easy to disassemble. It’s a decent looking stand that’s OK at best, was purchased on sale, but I’d never pay full price for this…

The stand works great (I actually use it for two headsets). But, the USB port broke as I put a connector on it :( I didn't return it or complain because I actually prefer it without the lights and don't need to charge the headsets, but beware...

This is one of those "looks good on paper" items. The lighting is nowhere as prominent as in the pictures; the strip is exactly 1mm wide and even in a pitch-black room is not that visible. For those who think "I don't want it to be distracting", just get a stand w/o lights - they have metal ones on this site for less, and those will last longer too. The only other benefit are the 2 usb ports, but then again, you can just use a regular usb hub if you really need the extra ports. Also, the "press to remove" button doesn't do anything. I thought you would use it to assemble/disassemble the pole, or maybe open the unit, but it does nothing at all. It might have been a fun novelty item at a lower pricepoint.

it is good if you can get it on discount. the light is very small and need to plug in. just get a normal stance

All plastic construction, the base is very light, easy to tip-off. The RB lights is nice, 2 extra USB ports is helpful. Anyway it's till a good buy based on the current price.
