Strong magnets and plenty of room for 4 large knives on one side (Santoku, Nakiri, Kiritsuki, Men With Pot knife) and 6 smaller knives (4 steak, bread and paring) on the other. A nice weighted base that won't tip over. I highly recommend this if you want to clear up some counter space.

This is a great addition to the kitchen. We always had knives lying around but had no place for a bar on the wall. This works perfect and was a great price too! It is very good quality and just took a couple of minutes to assemble.

Really nice knife block. Looks good. Heavy enough to be very stable. The magnets are very strong. The only downside is that the magnetic field is not constant across the block. There are places a knife wants to skip over.

Love this so much that I got several for family members.
