Okay for the piece. Not the most stable desk.

I purchased this standing -sitting desk and it was working well. I assembled it myself and it wasn't too hard. But the mechanism suddenly stopped working and I can no longer put it in ''standing mode''. It lasted 2 months. The DOWN button works but the UP bottom doesn't. I would really need some help as to how that can be resolved. I tried unscrewing the bar that pushes the table up and down but nothing changed. I now have to sit all day again..just like before purchasing this table. Please help.

I’ve delayed sharing a review of this height adjustable desk due to experiencing a couple of small issues. The motorized function works fine. I purchased this desk for my wife, to help improve ergonomics. The sliding/tilting centre section seems to have excess clearance on the left and right sides causing the side motion to be somewhat sloppy allowing it to rotate slightly causing friction and drag. Additionally, when the sliding drawer is fully closed, there is a height difference between the fixed woodgrain edges of desk and the sliding drawer closest to the front (where you sit) and then it tapers back to flush where it meets the fixed center black section. I intend to try to see if by small adjustments I can resolve these little problems. Assembly was a good puzzle and went smoothly as long as you carefully follow the instructions. We like the clean open look, which blends well with our light maple hardwood floors. Quality finished product.
