I find it a bit awkward to hold against the pot because it has little feet on the underside that can get in the way with my pot handle. I need check that the feet aren't creating a gap between the drainer and the edge of the pot before I pour out the water. The design also assumes you are holding the pot with your left hand and tipping clockwise. I normally prefer holding my pots with my right hand and tipping counterclockwise.

Excellent design. Can move the drainer to cover the portion of the pot. Use a glove to do this to avoid scalding!

Tricky to use the first time correctly, so test it on your pots before using food you're cooking
