Bought this to try it out and it works! If you have stubborn calluses and are impatient, I suggest using a separate foot grater (idk if that's what you call it) and finishing it off with this machine. It just takes a bit longer if you use this machine for the whole thing. But I am quite happy with it.

Purchased as gifts. My daughter travels a lot for business in a variety of hot countries and doesn't always have time to ensure her feet are presentable :). This item will save her from looking for a local pedicure or trying to fit an appointment in before leaving. We felt is was a super travel accessory. Once she has actually used it, I'll post an update as to actual functionality.
