It will detect the studs but you will be marking your walls so often because it does not scan the edge of the stud and results are inconsistent. I did scan a wall with drywall on one side and it is not accurate. I compared it with a cheap version of a well known brand and I have better results. Less frustration.

This does not work quite as well as I had hoped. It often gives questionable readings. I have had other brands that work far better.

Should improve the tilt locking screws. They are very thin abd once sliped the mount is gone.

I am a regular buyer of prime cables. But these mounts are client returned mounts. Especially when they are on sale. Missing screws and overly tightened tilt screws by the first buyer. The company should clearly mention these products as open box.

pas très précis et capricieux au calibrage lors de l'allumage. ne distingue pas le type d'objet trouvé ( stud fils tuyau etc).
