I cannot believe that this company gets away with selling such a poor product - as soon as you lift it you can see the joints coming apart. Not worth even five cents. very disappointed with this company.

I ordered these as I was looking for a new pair of poles that would be easier to stick in luggage or a backpack than the poles I already own. The problem is that there is nothing to keep the bottom two sections tight and closed. After literally two steps with the poles one of the two sections will slip apart. Yes, I could use tape to keep the sections together, but then that defeats the entire purpose of buying these specific poles. Returning for refund, will go look elsewhere for a product that meets the requirements.
