At first, all the icons are overwhelming, but once you get used to the few buttons you'll usually be pushing, it's all ok! Doubt you'll use them all, but keep the manual handy just in case. e.g. Warm milk function? Anyhow, works great, except for a high-pitched noise which is more likely to be observed at higher settings.

always use it for hotpot

I have used this device for a week and it has worked very well to heat up a fry pan and uses about 1/2 the energy of my stove element. I like the relative heat adjustment on the frying mode .... I say relative because the temperatures displayed on the display are higher than the oil temperature of the frying oil. In general it heats up quite quickly and cooks well
