required the older 2.4 ghz Wifi connection... M using 5 G so needed to adjust for this...

The Wifi control worked for 18 months. The first winter, it was 100% reliable. Now when it’s cold, it intermittently loses contact with Alexa and the Smart+ app and turns off. Now it just works with the button on the unit so it’s lost its remote capability. Note: the location of the router and the plug have not changed and they are still just 4 feet apart on opposite sides of an exterior wall.

It works great to turn on the lights, however, doesn't always turn off the lights
