This item did not reach my expectations for the specific application that I intended to use it for. I wanted to remove the strings of outdoor Christmas lights that I had on the house without having to climb a ladder. It was difficult, and sometimes impossible to "grab" the wires in order to unhook the string of lights from the hooks that held the lights against the house. I'm sure that it is designed for reaching larger objects and not really small objects.

Little stiff but hopefully it’s just because it’s new.

Lightweight, easy to use. Excellent tool for a short statured person.
