Large Keyboard & Mouse Tray Under Desk Pull Out with C Clamp, 26.8 x 11.1in - PrimeCables®
stuck every time you open or close
The pros, it does what it is supposed to. If you get it on sale, you are unlikely to find a similar product at $25. The cons, many. First, I received what seemed to be a previous return, without instructions. While this is a simple item to put together, I still had to waste time with trial and error that I otherwise would not have had to if I had the instructions. Second, there is Prime Cables branding on the left holder. While this should generally be expected with a Prime Cables product, I think it is deceptive to show an unbranded product in the photo. It is common for people to prefer not to have office brands plastered throughout their desk. I would have thought twice about buying this if I knew there was branding in such a prominent spot. Third, the slide mechanism is not the best. It is not smooth when I pull out the tray. You also need to clamp both sides as equal as possible to avoid the tray jiggling when you pull it in or out. I used trial and error to see if loosening the screws would give it a smoother pull, but that resulted in the tray shaking like an earthquake when I typed. It might just need some additional lubricant, but out of the box the model I received is quite difficult to pull out or push in. Let's assume you don't care about the Prime Cables branding, and you receive instructions with your unit. It's probably a solid 3 or 4 at the right price. Just know what you're getting, a very cheap and barebones keyboard tray that will do the job but may not feel great to use. One major positive about this tray is that you could possibly repurpose the hardware later on with a nicer piece of wood or another peripheral for your desk. So even if you do not use the tray forever, the mounts and slide-out mechanism could find a different use.
It doesn't hold tight the keyboard, maybe mine is defective but the tray is not stable
