I like the idea to extend the desk but I did not need it for that purpose. I needed more desk space in front of me. The 1st pic is clamping at the back but it was too low for me to lift the laptop lid to turn it on, I would had to pull the laptop out each time plus hard to connect power source when low. So I did the third version (2nd pic) having it sit on the desk and that worked perfectly. I do not have to move the laptop to turn it on and easy access to the laptop ports. Now more space in front of me.

This is one of the most useful office versatile I've ever seen but it has some bugs As it is being seen in photos Fill the gap with letters but If it had had another screw hole I would have tightened through that and passed the table bar barrier. By the way, I like it and it made the table extend

Basically adds a nice little shelf to my desk

No problems as of now, good quality for the price

you have to make sure hat your desk is not thin, otherwise it might break

Ordered 2 of these. Installed one at the end of my desk for printer, and the other in the opposite orientation as a monitor stand. They are sturdy and work equally well in both configurations. I like that they clamp on and can be reconfigured in case I ever want to rearrange my work space.
