NOT REALLY COUNTER STOOLS. These are attractive, sturdy stools. Be aware though that they are very high - closer to bar height than counter height as advertised. We're still trying to decide if they are going to be comfortable enough or if they need to go back. I'm providing a photo of these stools next to our old stools. (Product pictures are photoshopped so the proportions are not accurate.)
