After the assembly I realized it’s too small for shoes good for slippers only

This cabinet looks good in principle and for the price is of acceptable build quality. The biggest issue is that my shoes won't fit, both lengthwise and height wise. I wear men's US size 12 and unfortunately none of my shoes fit.
