Had no problem wireless charging through the case of two different phones that I tried. There is a button on the top to dim the light or turn it off. The speaker is 3-watt, but still better then my laptop or phone's built-in speaker. I like that it uses USB type-C. I am giving it 5-stars because the promotional price makes this great value and everything works as advertised.

the multiple functions make it perfect for the bedside, one cable to delivery multiple features helps declutter. light is a nice warm tone.
