UNABLE TO GIVE YOU MY ASSESSMENT AS I HAVE NOT HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MUSE THESE DISCS AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER, i certainly hope that they are reliable, and the quality control on these products exceeds the experience that I encountered with a 50 pack of HP discs which I ordered some weeks ago. Of the 50 HP discs, 4 were rejected as "unknown disc". That's a failure rate of 8% !!!!! I don't know the failure rate of the industry, but it certainly is unacceptable

These Philips 16x discs are of excellent quality. I've used many of them over the years and each one burns flawlessly - no rejects. Any burning problems I encounter are related to computer/software issues - not the discs. They play back beautifully and perfectly in both computer drives and in DVD disc players. Good for data, music and videos. I highly recommend them.

I haven't used these discs at this point, but hope that they are more reliable than the HP discs that I received a couple of weeks ago where 4 discs were rejected by my recorder--that amounts to an 8% failure rate.
