My first review never appeared on this site. It was a bad review saying that I had bought two of these cartridges and tried one and it didn't work on my CLX-3175. I was getting an invalid toner message on the printer display. After asking for a refund however I was provided with some simple installation tips to get the cartridge to work on the printer and it worked. I tried both cartridges and they both worked. I then tested the print and the quality is high enough for a PhD Thesis, which is what I'm using a printer for. These are the instructions I was provided with: 1. While the printer is on, remove the toner cartridge from the printer. 2. Power off the printer and completely disconnect the printer from all power sources. You can do this by unplugging the printer from the wall or unplugging the power cord from the back/side of the printer. 3. While the printer is off, re-install the toner cartridge. Apply firm pressure to ensure the cartridge is completed seated in the printer. 4. Wait 10 minutes from the time you unplugged the printer from all power sources. This will ensure the printer memory is completely cleared of any errors. 5. Plug the printer back into the wall or back/side of the printer and turn the printer on. 4-stars in the review is because the item works but after a little bit of manipulation. It should be noted however that it's SAMSUNG that is causing these problems with their anti-competitive practices regarding after market media.... which may also be one of the reasons why these printers are cheap for their capability.

Works great in my printer. Prints like oem. (May look slightly different but not an issue). A lot less money spent then buying oem cartridges. I give them a 5 star rating over all.

The quality is better than I expected. It is almost as good as the original cartridge from Samsung. The price is great.
