If you are finding that when you are using your mouse or your keyboard for that matter and your wrist or wrists are starting to bother you this may be the item that will help you along with proper mouse and keyboard wrist rests as well. The desk extender was a life saver for my daughter and I as both of us do quite a bit of typing and searching on the web and this has caused us quite a bit of pain in the past. This item has good support however you just have to keep in mind that this is plastic so it is not going to hold all of your weight also keep in mind that when you tighten up the screw for the desk extender not to over tighten it as it will break all you will need to do is make sure that it is snug only and that will be plenty enough to add extra support in the location that it is needed. It does make a great support item at the end of the day and it does take pressure off the areas that would cause you pain when you are trying to complete your task at hand and based on our opinion it is a great item and it a necessary item to add to your home office setup or otherwise.

This is a great elbow support pad if your desk chair does not having the right arm rest. After getting my desk chair, I keep this on my desk because it is strong enough to be used as a "table" with my files on top of this elbow support pad so I could write on the paper! Another extension of my desk! Highly Recommended!

Only needed a 3cm space to clamp on. Bought it for my left for gaming with a keyboard. Easy install and sturdy as well. My elbow feels really comfortable now while gaming.

I think it's great, especially if you dont have a chair with armrests (not uncommon with the sit / stand setups)

Works well and stores away easily for safekeeping.
