This click keeps great time, doesn't make a sound and is pretty easy to read from across the room, which is the main reason I wanted a wall clock. When I first got it and put the battery in, I thought it was broken...I was waiting to hear ticking and there was none,as it is supposed to be. The hands of the clock are very light wood and can break easily, be very careful when putting them on...not a big problem, just a note to be careful when first setting it up.

Bought 2 of these clocks on sale for $10 each. A few weeks ownership only so far. No second hand, but comes with spare minute/hour hands. I bought a few dollar store clocks before, and those just could not keep the time accurately, and I always had to throw them out. The movement in these seem to be of noticeably higher quality, and I'm hoping they stay that way. I don't want to have to fork out another $60 unnecessarily for a decent SEIKO wall clock again,, unless I have to.

I cannot recommend this clock as it is poorly made and extremely flimsy . The clock is nothing like the photo. It's a pressed wood substitute with numbers glued to it. It's not enclosed in a "frame" hence there is no glass covering the face of the clock. The hour and minute hands are very flimsy and can be damaged if you don't handle them carefully. It looks great I can't say a good word about it.
