Bought these to go with a compost bin I bought for my sister for Mother’s Day. Comes with sooo many bags that I know my sister will be set for a good year or so. While putting a bag in the bin I found if I was too forceful the bags would rip so definitely treat them delicately and don’t try to whip them open like normal garbage bags. They don’t leak and they don’t rip when holding a bunch of food. Great!

These are excellent! More than just a compost bucket bag: The product is thicker and sturdier than other name brands from the supermarket or big box store. I found the commercial brands split easily and these are at a far, far better price. I also use these when I shop for veg and fruit so that I don't have to use the store's plastic bags. I have net bags but, if I use these bags, I no longer have to worry about laundering the net bags. I had a bit of a panic when I thought that Living Basics has discontinued this product.

So weak, it tears easily even if you double it up. If you need compostable bag the look elsewhere.

These bags are useless. They are difficult to open, and they tear so easily - before they are even put to use! I tried them because they should be better for the environment, but now I just feel scammed for wanting to do my part!

I don't know if they were defective, but the batch I got ripped as lightly as I tried opening the bags. I tried about 20 bags to make sure, even my husband tried and they all ripped. Really disappointed we wasted money on these bags
