Had an old drive that never worked for me. Realized it was a M2 drive and I had been trying an NVME adapter. Got this and the drive worked. It's confusing with the M2 / NVME + B/B&M key, but this does exactly what it is supposed to do.

This is great for putting in an old m.2 SATA drive in so that it doesn't go to waste. The casing is very compact and feels very durable. Installation is pretty easy, but the stand-off included to screw the drive in place has a very large gap. I have to put a paper shim under the drive to stop it from wobbling and clacking inside the casing.

Worked perfectly to read older SATA M.2 drive. Note it only works on SATA M.2 not NVMe M.2

Perfect for B+M type NVME M.2 drives, not M type drives.

Great ssd enclosure. Seems to be good quality.
