I think this option from Prime Cables is even better than the original Apple Watch charger because the unit is slightly larger (easier to handle) and the magnet seems to be more powerful (easier to snap watch into charging position) and it really holds onto the back of the watch so it won't accidentally slip off. I've purchased two of these - one for travel and one permanently attached at home.

I actually like this better than the Apple original charger because the PrimeCables version has a larger, thicker base with a stronger magnet, so the watch is less likely to slide off the charging disc if it's resting on its side. Charges my watch just as efficiently as the OEM charger and the disc stays cool (unlike cheaper non certified chargers) so it isn't wasting energy through heat.

I have over the years purchased various cheaper chargers. I have only used this for about a week but it is better than the others I have used - so far. Centers well on the watch and holds well.

Bought this to have an additional Apple Watch charger at my desk that is available for quick charges while I work and it’s been a great addition to my set up.
