I never had a laser printer before and whenever I look at all the brand names across many stores and sites its like $200 or more. I recently came across this site and found a basic model that all I wanted to do was print. I checked out some reviews on youtube and then I said to myself this is perfect for me. Once I got it in I didn't realize how small it is as it's perfect for my computer table. I saw online how to setup the toner and what to remove. So after everything was setup for that I plugged everything in and installed the software. The software has to be the most fastest and easiest software I ever used before. Within just a few seconds it was already installed and I was able to do a test print and I did 10 more after that as I wanted to see how fast it would print right after another and it amazed me on how much of an amazing job it did. Now I got some other friends buying this as they're throwing out their $300 laser printer that they bought from a big box store and buying this one. Thank you for having this available as I didn't want to go spend $200 or more on a basic laser printer. I have no use for the copier, scanner and things like that. I just need to print and thats it.

As a retired Electronic Technician with 6 decades of experience and having used dot matrix, ink jet and laser printers in my own business offices I feel that my honest appraisal of the PANTUM P2516 single use laser printer might be of some value to anyone considering a laser printer in general and this Pantum printer specifically. If I had to sum up the entire experience in just two words it would be "MOST IMPRESSIVE". My previous printer made by a major printer manufacturer was going to cost over $600 in genuine toner cartridges (3 color, 1 black and 1 drum cartridge). That unit was making it almost impossible to substitute after market cartridges. Don't misunderstand, that unit was very well built (15 years of use) BUT their business practices with toner and drums is to say the very least, aggravating. For the last several months the unit would have to be unplugged and then rebooted to just get it to maybe print 1 page. I finally had enough. I started to research the current laser printer market and the various manufacturers and the consumable prices as well as the overall cost and functionality of the printers themselves. My research led me to the Pantum laser printer line of products. This compact, monochrome, sturdy but light weight printer caught my attention. This Pantum P2516 laser printer fits my present needs perfectly AND the entire unit with a starter cartridge was considerably LESS than just 1 of my previous name brands cartridges. This Pantum PB-211 toner cartridge is used in our Pantum P2500W printer. Over the time we have had it, we have had several cartridge changes. The printing results are always extremely good, and the cartridge life has always been acceptably long. I highly recommend both the printer and the cartridge.

I am very happy with the product and this is my second order.

Prints fine. However, paper (heavy duty and thick) comes thru curled up and one has to grab sheets one at a time as they come out, or a multipage document comes out jumbled all over the floor. If one uses light paper the curling is much worse.
