Although in the past I've had success with these cartridges, I'm finding that with recent software updates (as of 2020), my Epson 3880 now identifies these compatible cartridges with older OEM ink chips as 'Non Genuine' and although you can still accept the warnings, I've noticed the ink levels don't show any longer and on some cartridges (I've purchased entire sets of these compatible modules for my printer), the printer reports 'low ink' for a new, compatible cartridge. You can still print with these warnings (unless the chip shells included are defective, in which case the printer just won't accept the cartridge at all) but it is distracting to see low ink lights when cartridges are full. ShopperPlus has been responsive in these situations and has worked with me to arrive at a compromise but now I'm more wary of purchasing these cartridges. I've purchased OEM ink to restore my printer to normal ink response and I will try these compatible cartridges again in future (because they really are a lower cost alternative when they worked previously) with newer OEM chips to see if it improves the response I've experienced recently.
