Cheap cable that does a good job... sometimes This doesn't work in any way / angle / half connected with my bose headphones. My hypothesis is that it doesn't support cables with inline microphone. A contact point for right channel cannot get connected which cause distortion in sound. I have contacted their team about this problem. Hope this gets fixed in the future.

This only works with headphones without microphones. If I plug my headphone (with microphone) to my laptop or monitor's audio jack, everything is fine. However, if I plug this extension cable to my laptop or monitor's audio jack and then plug my headphone (with microphone) to this cable, only left or right headphone has sound come out.

I had years ago shopped cables from monoprice and wasn't happy at all with them. All of them were having issues where the plug ends and cable begins. Had issues with only one channel working, no channel working or just static coming from them, by playing with the cable at the joint of the plug you'd get it working but by the second month, you'd throw it to the garbage, these are a little worse but I gave it 2 stars for the price.
