Several reviewers complained that the product cannot fit 12AWG speaker wire. Using the PrimeCables12AWG OFC wire (Model No. Cab-2789), and applying a thin layer of Vaseline to the sleeve before insertion makes perfect assembly. See picture, and wire gauge number is visible on enlarged photo.

I've crimped these onto both 12AWG regular speaker wire and 14AWG CL2 rated wire (both from this site, house branded). The insulation is a bit tight on the 12AWG, but it still worked. They seem solid, just make sure you remember to tighten the tip as well since they unscrew independently. I've done about 40 of these so far and aside from some sore fingers at times, they get the job done and are secure.

Simple enough to use and they create a snug fit on the terminals of speakers and receiver. Great price. No need to mess around with screwdrivers or anything like that.

Third time buying these I think! Will buy again haha!
