It doesn't work with 14awg wires or bigger wires as the opening would not be big enough to allow the jacket to insert into it. It's only meant for 16-18 awg. And the connectors are loose... Once inserted in Prime Cable's own banana binding posts, they are loose and can easily be unplugged.

The fins on the clips go flat after removing 2 or 3 times and then fit loose in the connectors

I have never written a negative review, but this product made me want to do so. Yes, the quality is there, not a question, but the design/installation is a nightmare. Spending on avg. 10 minutes per plug, redoing it multiple times, wire bristols would catch in the thread making it impossible to screw by hand. One would need a set of 2 pliers to finish the job. If you can, avoid at all costs. Get yourself plugs with a classic design, where you can fix the wire with one or two set screws.

Only works with low grade wire. Terrible design. There’s way better designs available. Won’t be using these, will trash and go elsewhere. Can’t tighten even with two wrenches

These banana plugs are useless for the 12 gauge wire your company sells and they break very easy

The banana ends are too small, and weren't able to mate snuggly in my connectors. Even worse, they easily compress and bend further, which makes then even smaller. I wasn't able to use a single one successfully, but I've used many other banana connectors without issue.
