Poor design for 12AWG. It's almost impossible to tighten the upper part. I regret this purchase.

Don't have a nice way to lock in the cable other than spreading the strands over the threads and tightening. it works but is a bit finicky

As there is no explanation for what a "Closed Screw Type". This was the first time I've used Banana Plugs and I didn't know they came in different configurations. I don't like how the speaker wire attaches to these plugs.

The banana plugs appear to be of high quality construction. Unfortunately they are not the easiest to install, compared to others I have used in the past. I needed to use a wrench to completely thread the connector.
