    These Moustache cartridges don't work in my Brother MFC-9130 printer. I believe the problem is best illustrated by the accompanying photos.

    Had a problem with the yellow cartridge that wasn't recognized. Opened another new yellow one which did work. May have been a dud?

        it would not recognize the cartridge and after help to get it recognized it only lasted for 500 copies.

          Hi Deb, Thank you very much for your review. Please try the following instruction to solve the problem: (1)   Check the cartridge and the laser machine are compatible. If they are not compatible, you will get this error. (2)   Verify the main motor is rotating. (3)   Turn off the printer and the remove cover. Look through the cutout in the laser machine chassis to check the gears are meshing. When you install the black cartridge in the laser machine, the cartridge lever assembly will move into a lower position. This will lock the cartridge into the developing position (vertical position.) this locking position will activate the cartridge switch. When the switch is activated, it will notify the machine that a black toner cartridge has been installed. If your laser machine does not recognize the cartridge, it is likely that the switch is causing this problem. Try reinstalling the cartridge. Open the top door and observe the gears separating. Then close the door and watch them mesh together. Turn on the laser machine and watch the gears. If they rotate and the message reading TONER CARTRIDGE NOT RECOGNIZED, could you please email us a picture of any "error message". Once we receive your picture and identify the problem. We will arrange for a replacement or refund.

            Bought two sets of these. First one was alright. Colour was off from the OEM but it was passable. Second set was garbage. Streaky inconsistent colour on pictures and text. The price is good but if you want consistent quality I would not suggest.
