I purchased this for someone else's blackberry something-or-other and it did not work very well (because the blackberry had a square screen) it also took a while to get audio working to the TV. However once that was fixed everything worked as advertised. Also not sure if it was mentitioned in the ad but you can charge your phone while sending the video over HDMI. There is a hidden charge port on one side.

Does exactly what I was hoping it would.

Does what it is supposed to. I have two Nexus 5s, one running the original stock Android and the other running Resurrection Remix. This adapter works with both with no configuration required - plug it into a cable connected to your TV's HDMI input and the hardware does everything right.

Worked perfectly with my first connection. Nothing to set up on my Blackberry Android phone, just plug into phone and an HDMI cable to the TV and go.
