I purchased this for someone else's blackberry something-or-other and it did not work very well (because the blackberry had a square screen) it also took a while to get audio working to the TV. However once that was fixed everything worked as advertised. Also not sure if it was mentitioned in the ad but you can charge your phone while sending the video over HDMI. There is a hidden charge port on one side.

Worked well with a Nexus 7 tablet, and will let me use it for streaming media while using the treadmill.

Works well on a TV with a Nexus 5, but didn't work with a HDMI capture card.

Perfect solution to cast to a TV without miracast or similar. It works to connect my programs via HDMI, but had difficulty with the THX Calibration software it would show some of the program but not the actual calibration tools, With some minor position adjustment of the phone connection it worked flawlessly and my TV picture is a lot better. The fact that it will power your phone or tablet while in use is fantastic. Would give 5 stars except for THX problem.
