I found the black cartridge to work well at first, but after a while, lines printed were "off", no longer printing straight and letters were printing fuzzy. I thought at first that the printer heads needed to be aligned. Went through that, cleaning, etc but no go. I thought there was something wrong with my new printer. Then, I changed the cartridge for another Mustache one and it was fine. I thought that first one was just defective but then the new one started doing the same thing after a little while. Too bad... guess I'll have to buy Canon cartridges...

I ordered three of these - one wouldn't work at all. Tried deep cleaning it several times and declogging it - had to ditch it.

Dear Jean, Thank you very much for your review. Please try the following instruction to solve the problem: Please try removing the cartridge from the printer. Make sure all the sealing tapes are removed. Hold it with a paper towel lightly damped with warm distilled water in one hand. With your other hand, blot the print head by pressing it into the towel a couple of times. This way, you will remove any dried ink on the print head surface. There should be a uniform, solid ink pattern on towel. If this does not solve the problem, place the cartridge into a shallow saucer of hot distilled water for around 5 to10 minutes so as to help loosen the dried ink on the ink jets. Then, try blotting it again. If there is a uniform, solid ink pattern on towel, dry off the cartridge and put it back in the printer. The ink may appear lighter because of the water. In order to clear it out, a few blots and a test page will help. If the trouble shooting doesn't work, please feel free to contact our customer service.

I bought this ink because I read the reviews are pretty good. Apparently, it's not as good as I thought it would bel. It's pretty decent if you are printing text or even kids' homework etc, when quality doesn't take into consideration. However, I print all the time for my work. I need high quality ink. I compared this ink to manufacture ink. I find manufacture ink doesn't absorb into the paper as much compared to this ink. I find this ink uses too much ink on paper. I only use it for 2 weeks and now I am running low on black ink? This really tells you how much this ink is wasted. If you're looking for cheap ink and don't print as much. This is fine. Would I buy this again? Maybe. Take a look at the photo. The pink paper is printed on using this ink :(. The yellow paper is printed from my manufacture ink.
