Instructions inside the box said to use a 1/4" pilot hole for stud mounting, which is too large. Had to go buy some 3/8" wood screws due to the error.

This review is after trying to mount my 55" Vizio TV. You can't reach the screws to secure the tv to the wall once placed on the mount. You can't adjust the tilt after it is mounted because there's no space between the tv and the wall after it is mounted. The instructions differ between the packaging and the manual. The drill bit you are instructed to use to drill pilot holes into the studs is too big and caused me to place two unnecessary holes in the wall. Do not buy this poorly designed product.

Buy the unit that has the pull string release. You will otherwise scratch the hell out of your walls trying to screw in the lower release clips.

The lag screws are provided with the bracket to attach it to the wall. Do NOT use these screws. I pre-drilled holes into the stud and 2 of the screws broke while screwing them into the wall. The screws now broken cannot be removed and are useless. I had to relocate the bracket and buy new screws from the store. 123ink offered to send me new screws - no thanks! I asked for a reasonable credit which they agreed and then they did not provide. I contacted them again and then they gave me a credit but not for what they originally agreed. Be warned that you need to go buy lag screws if you want to ensure your tv does not fall of the wall!

No idea how welll this works since I can't mount it. Mine didn't include any of the small spacers (H). They must of forgot to package them since the H pocket is empty.
