I got this to measure small objects precisely. Compared to my colleague's old school caliper which uses a gauge display, the digital caliper was much easier to read with having the measurement instantly displayed. I can't comment on the battery life (which should be fine since this tool would get used sparingly), but it does come with a backup battery just in case. The caliper is easy and intuitive to use. The hard plastic case ensures that it doesn't get damaged when placed in a toolbox. Definitely recommend to others especially at this excellent price point.

Great sturdy tool at that price and worth because even if you don't believe me and find it inferior to market quality - even though not satisfied by it's excellent 1yr warranty - they have reimbursed me fully what I paid them and told me to keep the product rather than send it back due to my claim. Truly a bargain!
