Will do the job for occasional work but if you plan on using it regularly I would get something better.

Feels better quality than most third hand products I've used. The light is a nice function. Does need batteries in the base to hold weight. The LED on off button seems like the cheapest of switches and wiring.

Haven't had a chance to use it but looks good. No instruction on how to put together, but figured it out.

Great third hand. Good magnifying lens. Flex joints a bit difficult to tighten, but adequate. Base could be a little larger, and will attach (somehow!) to something larger.
